This famous festival is a riot of colors and festivity and is celebrated on a grand scale. The Summer Festival in Simla is a beautiful amalgamation of various talented people of India who make it an event that is remembered for a long time to come.

In 1905, the Viceroy of India, Lord Curzon became so captivated with the beauty of Naldehra, a place 22 kilometers from him summer capital Shimla, that he would often come and camp here for days on end.

The Naldehra Golf Club is an unusual course, perched at an altitude of 2,200 meters; under a thick mane of Himalayan Cedar ; “Deodar Trees”. It is a par 68, 18 Hole Golf Course with 16 Greens and 18 Tees. Designed over a long sloping glade, the course is regarded as one of the most challenging in the Country.

It was originally a nine hole course with the same greens repeated on the back nine with different tees. But as time passed, the management felt the need of adding a little more diversity to the course, which they did by relaying it and adding a few more greens and respective tees without challenging the natural topography. This effort was fruitful as the design of the course turned out to be unique as compared to other courses you would come across.

Tattapani is a popular attraction of this place, located at a distance of 30 km from Naldehra and 56 km away from Shimla. Tattapani is famous for its hot water springs and every year, many people come to this place to take a dip in this water. It is known for its sulphurous spring water,  which is believed to cure many ailments like joint pain, fatigues and certain skin diseases. The springs are situated on the banks of River Sutlej, spread over an area of 1 sq km.

Tattapani is located at an elevation of 655 m above sea level. This hot water spring is at a distance of 4 km from the Hindu temples and the Shiv Goofa (Shiva Caves) located at Saraur. Tourists also come to this place to try their hand at rafting along the Sutlej River.
